"Relive the romance of Camelot from a fresh new perspective...in this magnificent new production of Lerner and Loewe's timeless masterpiece. The splendid, memorable score includes the haunting 'If Ever I Would Leave You,' the captivating 'How To Handle a Woman' and the majestic 'Camelot,'" state La Mirada notes on the 1960 show, which concerns an Arthurian love triangle between king, queen and knight. Camelot, based on The Once and Future King by T.H. White, features music by Frederick Loewe and lyrics and book by Alan Jay Lerner.
Actor York has appeared in dozens of films, including the Austin Powers films, Logan's Run, The Three Musketeers, Murder on the Orient Express, Cabaret and Romeo and Juliet. He has appeared on Broadway in Someone Who'll Watch Over Me, The Crucible, Bent, and Out Cry, as well as the musical The Little Prince and The Aviator (which never opened).
Actress York, who most recently appeared as Christine Colgate in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, won a Drama Desk Award for her performance in Victor/Victoria. She also received Drama Desk nominations for her work in Dessa Rose and the off-Broadway Sondheim revue Putting It Together.
