A number of Broadway legends will be the focus of "Musical Conversations" discussions at the York Theatre Company.

The "Musicals Conversations" series is hosted by John Kendrick of Musicals101.com. On July 11th at 7 PM, he will explore the career of Fanny Brice, the legendary comedienne who starred in vaudeville, musical comedies, the Ziegfeld Follies and on film, but who is perhaps best known today as the central character of Funny Girl.

Future 7 PM evenings will spotlight three-time Tony Award-winner Mary Martin (South Pacific, The Sound of Music, Peter Pan) on July 18th, Julie Andrews (My Fair Lady, Camelot, Victor/Victoria) on July 25th and four-time Tony Award-winner Angela Lansbury (Mame, Sweeney Todd) on August 1st.

The York Theatre Company is located at Saint Peter's Theatre at 54th Street, east of Lexington Avenue. Tickets are $10, and are available at the door before the discussion. Call (212) 935-5824, ext. 21. for reservations.  Visit www.yorktheatre.org for more information.
