The York Theatre Company has announced that, for the fourth consecutive summer, it will partner with Marymount Manhattan - a liberal arts college in New York City and home to a premiere performing arts program - to offer performers ages 18-27 a New Musical Theatre Intensive.
The cost of the Intensive is $2650 for the program. Housing in a Marymount Manhattan dormitory is available for an additional $1300. Last year's showcase included songs from shows seen on the York Stage in the Mainstage and Developmental Reading Series, with material from writers such as: Paul McKibbins and BT McNicholl, Adam Overett, Charles Bloom, Brad Ross & Ellen Greenfield, Joe Keenan, Joe Iconis, Jihwan Kim and Sean Hartley, Chris Miller and Nathan Tysen, John McMahon and Jay Jeffries, Mathew Frank and Dean Bryant, David Evans and Sarah Schlesinger, Lawrence Rosen, Stephen Dolginoff, Scott Alan and David Kirshenbaum.
