The Ya'el Tap Dance Company, under the direction of Julie Rubin, presents "SERENITY" at The Wild Project in NYC tonight, July 29th.

The Ya'el Tap Company, a culturally and spiritually Jewish dance troupe, will be performing an evening length show entitled "Serenity." This journey will use dance and spoken word to expose it's audience to stories of survival, struggle, passion, peace, weakness, and strength with special guest spoken word artist JoAnna Hoffman.

Ya'el Tap features works inspired by Hebrew music, Israeli movement, and Jewish themes. While simply celebrating Jewish culture, they also express the meaning of prayers, blessings, and themes in the Jewish lifestyle, traditions, and history. Ya'el Tap's mission is to celebrate Judaism and it's culture through the arts, in order to strengthen Jewish identity. They would like to share their experiences and reach as many individuals as possible - because all people, no matter what their beliefs, can connect in their own ways.

The performance will take place tonight, July 29th at 8 pm at The Wild Project- 195 East 3rd Street. Tickets $15. Purchase: http://www.thewildproject.com/performances/2013-SERENITY.shtml.
