X FACTOR Carly Rose Watch: Sonenclar Advances to Top 12!

On last night's THE X FACTOR on FOX, sixteen contestants were whittled down to twelve, with Broadway fave Carly Rose Sonenclar among them! Mentor Britney Spears delivered the good news when it came time for the 'Teens' segment of the show, announcing that she would save Sonenclar along with fellow contestant Beatrice Miller.

Unfortunately fellow Teen hopeful Diamond White, who tried to impress Spears with her rendition of Elton John's "Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word", was sent home, while Arin Ray was given another chance to perform next week. 

Sonenclar has appeared on Broadway in Les Miserables and Wonderland, and has also taken the stage in NYMF's The Night of the Hunter (2006) and the national tour of Little House on the Prairie the Musical.
