The Central Park Conservancy welcomes New York Metropolitan area jazz buffs, swing dancers and nature lovers to "Great Jazz on the Great Hill," a free concert and celebration of jazz in one of New York City's most iconic locations.
The free show returns for its sixth year in Central Park with live musical performances by renowned trombonist Wycliffe Gordon (with a special tribute to Louis Armstrong), Latin jazz musician Steve Kroon, Jazz and Blues vocalist, Alyson Williams and Jazzmobile's Jazz Vocal Competition Winners BriAnna Thomas (2010) The show, which takes place from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, is a co-presentation of Jazzmobile and the Central Park Conservancy.
