Every purebred breed of dog and cat will be on hand at the world's largest showcase of dogs and cats at "Meet the Breeds" in New York City on Saturday, October 16th and Sunday, October 17th from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM daily at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, located at 655 West 34th Street (between 11th and 12th Avenues), Manhattan.

Presented by the American Kennel Club (AKC®) and Cat Fanciers' Association (CFA®), the second annual "Meet the Breeds" showcases nearly 200 purebred dogs and cats, each in their own breed booths that will be individually decorated depicting the history of each breed. Guests can watch a variety of demonstrations including dog and even cat agility competitions, K9 search & rescue dogs and grooming techniques. More than 100 vendors selling unique dog and cat items will also be on site while kids enjoy fun games and giveaways!

Advance tickets are available for $12 for adults and $8 for children at www.meetthebreeds.com. Tickets will be $15 for adults and $10 for children at the door.
