Cynthia goes to Green-Wood Cemetery to see an art installation: "Here Lie the Secrets of the Green-Wood Cemetery." The piece, by French artist Sophie Calle, invites visitors to place a secret in an underground capsule, to be dug up and burned later. Cynthia arrives with plenty of secrets, but once her time at the cemetery is over, she'll have more.
Sarah Krasnow (director, Le Problème with the ARACA Project) makes her NYC playwriting debut with Secrets of Green-Wood at the Hudson Guild Theatre as part of New York Theater Festival's WinterFest. Inspired by Sophie Calle's installation, Sarah is joining forces with talented puppet artists Virginia Wang, and Shannon Iriarte, plus bassist and composer James Ilgenfritz to bring this journey through Brooklyn's oldest cemetery to life.
