Workshop Reading of New Musical GO GENTLY FORWARD by Rob Cardazone

Playwright, Rob Cardazone Presents Go Gently Forward, a developmental reading for the book of a new musical, written by Rob Cardazone; directed by Guy Stroman. With George Abud, Jennifer Blood, Kendall Lloyd, John Pasha, Brittany N. Williams, Patrick McCarthy, Chuck Bradley, Katherine Wessling and Sam Kahler. 1958, New York City. Gus drives a bus. He looks out his window onto the big city, thinking he's satisfied with being just a spectator. A beautiful woman named Veronica comes on board, covering her bruised eye with makeup, and Gus' adventure begins.

Guy Stroman (Director) started as an actor playing Noodler in Peter Pan starring Sandy Duncan, and continued acting in roles including, Broadway: Rooster in Annie. Guy was the original Frankie in Forever Plaid in NYC, London’s West End and Los Angeles (Best Actor-LA Drama Critics, Bistro and Drama-Logue Awards). He developed and directed Free Fall starring Sandy Duncan, and the symphony pops concert, Sandy Duncan Celebrates Broadway. He has directed plays: Loot, Shakespeare’s R&J, Over the Tavern, The Lion in Winter, Broadway Bound, Talley’s Folly, The Gin Game, Art, The Last Night at Ballyhoo, Marvin’s Room, Steel Magnolias. Regionally Jen was nominated for a Jeff award for her portrayal of Maria in The Sound Of Music at the Drury Lane theater. Other Regional credits include Glass Menagerie (Mountain Playhouse), Light in the Piazza (Maine State), Third (Philadelphia Theater Company), Steel Magnolias (Casa Manana), Man of La Mancha (Sacramento Music Circus) and Dying City (Lyric Stage Boston).
