What’s the first thing you do when you arrive to the theatre?

Say hello to our doorman, Greg, with the goal of getting a smile out of that serious gentleman.

What’s the last thing you do before you go on stage?

Close my eyes in the wings, let go of any outside distractions, & drop myself into the world of the play.

What’s your must-have backstage snack?

I’m old school, and panic about eating in costume. I throw back a Sour Patch Kid now and then, but that stays between us.

Pre-show ritual that others may think is weird?

Stretch my tongue for 30 seconds, helps for singing and Sour Patch recovery.

What are five must-haves in your dressing room?

Water bottle, Quest bars, Liquid IV, ice breaker gum, and courage.  It’s possible my son also makes use of this list in college.

What’s your favorite moment from the show to watch from the wings?

Maryann Plunkett and Dorian Harewood singing “I Know.” I watch these master actors make new discoveries nightly, while shattering hearts in the process.

What has been your favorite backstage moment in your time with this show so far?

Carson Stewart and I prep for Act 2 by running lines in a variety of accents and impressions that have no business in a Nicholas Sparks romance.
