Michael Arden, who plays the role of "Coyote" in the new musical The Times They Are A-Changin' will be out of the matinee and evening performances of the show today, Wednesday, October 25. Mr. Arden has been performing through the scheduled critics performances this week with a severe case of the flu. He will take the two shows off today in the hopes that he will be well enough to perform for the Opening Night performance tomorrow, Thursday, October 26. Standby Jason Wooten will perform the role at both performances today (going on in the role for the first time at the matinee).

Jason Wooten's previous Broadway credits include The Rocky Horror Show (Riff Raff), Jesus Christ Superstar (Simon Zealotes), Footloose and Dance of the Vampires. He appeared in the American premiere of We Will Rock You in Las Vegas.

The Times They ARE A-CHANGIN' is a fable presented through Bob Dylan's lyrics and music, and Twyla Tharp's direction and choreography. The fable exists in a dreamscape populated by the members of a struggling circus: Captain Ahrab, the ringmaster; Coyote, his son; Cleo, a run-away; and the clowns. The Times They ARE A-CHANGIN' tells the timeless story of two generations at odds . . . and the young man who breaks free from his father's expectations to find his place in the world.

The Times They ARE A-CHANGIN' also stars Thom Sesma as "Captain Ahrab" and Lisa Brescia as "Cleo." The cast features Lisa Gajda, Neil Haskell, Jason McDole, Charlie Neshyba-Hodges, Jonathan Nosan, John Selya and Ron Todorowski.

The production features scenic and costume design by Santo Loquasto, lighting design by Donald Holder and sound design by Peter Hylenski.

The Times They ARE A-CHANGIN' has orchestrations by Michael Dansicker and Bob Dylan, with music adapted, arranged and supervised by Mr. Dansicker and musical direction by Henry Aronson.

The Times They ARE A-CHANGIN' will be performed Monday through Saturday at 8 p.m., with matinees Wednesday and Saturday at 2 p.m., through Saturday, October 28. Beginning Tuesday, October 31, the musical will be performed Tuesday at 7 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday at 8 p.m., Wednesday and Saturday at 2 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m.

Tickets for The Times They ARE A-CHANGIN' are priced at $31.25-$111.25 and are available via Ticketmaster.com at 212-307-4100, or in-person at The Brooks Atkinson Theatre Box Office (256 West 47th Street).
