After 95 years as a warm weather attraction, the world famous NYC Landmark Deno's WONDER WHEEL on the Boardwalk in Coney Island will start the 96th year counting down to the 100 year celebration in 2020.

This is an exciting new family tradition, hosted by the park owners, Dennis & Steve Vourderis. The Coney Island History Project will also be hand on January 1st to record New Year's greetings from the Wonder Wheel for their Oral History Archive. This party is coordinated with the Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams, and the Alliance for Coney Island.

"Our whole Vourderis family is delighted with the success and togetherness this past summer in Coney Island. With millions of people enjoying the attractions, we want to keep the party going so we are opening for the first time ever on New Year's Eve AND New Year's Day. 50% of all ticket sales on New Year's Day will be donated to the Polar Bear's swim club charity. This is a 'cool' way to kick off the New Year as we also look ahead to our 100th anniversary in 2020," says Dennis Vourderis.

WARM WEATHER HOURS • OPEN SUMMER: Memorial Day thru Labor Day (11a-11p) 7 Days • OPEN SPRING/FALL: April/May/Sept/Oct. 12pm-9pm Weekends/School Holidays • SUBWAY: F, Q, D, N trains to Stillwell Ave.
