Winter tour dates have been announced for Jude Treder-Wolff's new solo-show, This Isn't Helping. The comedic show will be performed at The Performing Arts Studio in Long Island on Saturday, December 9 at 7:00 pm, The Tank in New York City on Thursday, December 14 at 7:00 pm, and the The Whitefire Theater in California on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at 8:00 pm.

This Isn't Helping had its World Premiere at the Speak Up, Rise Up Festival last summer. The show is written and performed by Jude Treder-Wolff who is the creator/producer of the popular storytelling show (MOSTLY) True Things. Jude has also been featured (3 times) on the popular podcast RISK! and StoryFest at The PIT. The show contains original songs co-created by Jude Treder-Wolff and musician/composer Wells Hanley. Kevin Allison (RISK! podcast/creator and The State/MTV) is helping develop the show.

How does a therapist whose been practicing for 20 years deal with a bad case of burn-out? Go to therapy. And there are so many different kinds of therapy and self-help to choose from. But in a world, that seems to be getting crazier, are they helping? This true account of Jude Treder-Wolff's search for renewed hope introduces you to some of the fascinating characters who think they can help, including a wildly optimistic corporate trainer, an opinionated life coach, and mind/body therapist who was either the most relaxed, ethereal person or completely high. Featuring original songs written for the show by Jude Treder-Wolff and composer Wells Hanley.

BIOGRAPHIES

Jude Treder-Wolff (Writer/Performing) is a storyteller, writer/performer, singer/songwriter, and the creator, curator and host of (MOSTLY) TRUE THINGS. She has been featured on the hit storytelling podcast RISK! three times including a live performance at The Pit (The Peoples Improv Theater), and regularly performs in story slams in the New York area, including Talk Therapy, Take Two Storytelling, StoryFest, Now You're Talking, The Prose of Pie, and Moth slams. Her solo storytelling show Crazytown: my first psychopath was a featured selection at the 2013 Midtown International Theater Festival, the 2012 Chicago and San Francisco Fringe Festivals and had two successful runs at The Actors Theater Workshop in NYC, as well as performances at The Pit in NYC, the Charles B. Wells Hanley (Composer) is an accomplished musician, composer, songwriter and music coach who holds a MA in jazz piano from Manhattan School of Music. He coaches and accompanies singers all over the country, and is on the faculty at VCU where he teaches jazz piano. Wells has performed all of the country and internationally, highlights include the iconic Miller's in Charlottesville, VA with John D'earth's Thursday night group, and the Montreaux, North Sea, and Spoleto festivals abroad as well as countless jazz clubs and festivals in the US. www.wellshanley.com
