The evening will include a dinner party, a private performance from Miguel, and a meet & greet.
Miguel Cervantes, who opened the Chicago company in the title role of Alexander Hamilton, made his Broadway debut in 2010 as part of the original company of the Green Day rock musical American Idiot (following a few Off-Broadway credits, including Cam Jansen, and the national tour of ...Spelling Bee). Cervantes was also featured in the Off-Broadway musical Giant, featuring a score by Michael John LaChiusa, that played New York City's Public Theater-where Hamilton got its start before transferring to Broadway. Miguel returned to the Great White Way in If/Then.
"This opportunity to do Hamilton in Chicago has been unbelievable for me and my family. We really love this town. The people are great and the audiences are amazing," Cervantes said. "That is why I am so excited to be able to do a concert like this. It is nice to be able to drop the "Hamilton" wig and jackets and spend an evening doing some other songs that I love, and share a different sound and side of me with the Chicago folks. It is going to be a great night."
