THE GREAT AMERICAN TRAILER PARK MUSICAL began its life as a production in the 2004 New York Musical Theatre Festival, which also gave birth to Altar Boyz . This production, with music and lyrics by David Nehls and book and direction by Betsy Kelso, played to packed houses and received rave reviews.
The cast for THE GREAT AMERICAN TRAILER PARK MUSICAL includes original cast member Marya Grandy, Linda Hart ( Hairspray ), Tony Award winner Shuler Hensley (Broadway's Oklahoma , "Van Helsing"), Kaitlin Hopkins ( Bat Boy: The Musical ), Leslie Kritzer ( Hairspray ), Orfeh (Broadway's Saturday Night Fever, Footloose ) and Wayne Wilcox ( Gilmore Girls ).
