Casting has been announced for Lisa Loomer's Distracted, which will begin at L.A.'s Mark Taper Forum on March 15th, open on March 25th and run through April 29th.

Directed by Leonard Foglia (On Golden Pond), the production of the new play by Loomer (Living Out, The Waiting Room) will feature film and stage star Rita Wilson (Chicago), Bronson Pinchot (Sly Fox, Putting It Together, "Perfect Strangers") and Tony Award-nominee Johanna Day (Proof).  Stephanie Berry, Marisa Geraghty, Emma Hunton, Ray Porter and Hudson Thames will also be among the cast.

"Jesse is eight and easily distracted.  But so are his mother and father.  So are the neighbors!  And the doctors! In their fractured, fast paced, overly wired lives the consequence is almost … inevitable.  Or is it?  Has Jesse been correctly diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder?  Is it caused by over stimulation?  Bad parenting?  Too many chemicals in the food?  Too many poisons in the environment?  Or is Jesse just a kid in an ADD world?," as the show is described on the Center Theatre Group website.

The creative team will include Elaine McCarthy (sets and projections), Robert Blackman (costumes), Russell H. Champa (lighting), and Jon Gottleib (sound).
