Peisha McPhee, Julie Wilson, Judy Butterfield, Sheera Ben-David and Christine Pedi -- all in their Metropolitan Room debuts - and club mainstays Steven Brinberg, Lina Koutrakos and Jamie deRoy, as well as Mark Murphy, will play the Metropolitan Room in June.

West Coast singer-actress Peisha McPee performs "The Story Goes On" on June 1 and 2 at 8pm.  "The star of numerous national tours, she is also the mother of last-year's "American Idol runner-up," Katharine McPhee, and a much-in-demand vocal trainer," state press notes.  There is a $20 cover. (Cover $20)

With longtime music director Christopher Denny, the legendary cabaret star will return in "Julie Wilson at The Metropolitan Room." She will perform eight shows only -- on two consecutive Wednesdays through Saturdays -- June 13, 14, 15, 16, 20, 21, 22, 23, all at 8pm.  Cover is $25.

"17-year-old prodigy from San Francisco, Judy Butterfield, rockets into town with her electrifying rendition of the music of a youthful Judy Garland." "Judy Sings Judy: Songs of a Young Garland," which premiered at The Empire Plush Room in San Francisco and was seen twice last year at The Algonquin Hotel's Oak Room, plays four shows only -- Sunday  and Monday June 17, 18 at 7pm; Thursday and Friday June 21, 22 at 10:30pm.  Cover is $20.

"Another force-of-nature vocal talent, Sheera Ben-David, was featured last year in the Algonquin's Young Artists Competition (which earned her a 2007 Special Achievement Bistro Award).  Accompanied by her music director brother, Adam Ben-David, on piano, this New York-reared, full-throated dramatic singer is as smart as she is electrifying.  June 23 and 30 at 5pm."  Cover is $20.

"A boatload of famous divas are packed into one show in 'Great Dames,' the ebullient Christine Pedi's new salute to the great actresses of the stage and screen.  Pedi, currently on Broadway in Talk Radio, is a veteran of the New York, L.A. and London companies of Forbidden Broadway.  Take the action-packed ride on June 25, July 1 and 2 all at 7pm."  Cover is $20.

"6-time Grammy nominee Mark Murphy, performs two shows on June 27 (at 7pm and 9:30pm) to celebrate the release of his 41st album.  In a 40-year career, this hipster vocalist with his impressively supple and multi-toned  bass-baritone has popularized jazz in concerts, festivals, and recordings worldwide." Cover is $20.

Steven Brinberg positively nails Barbra Streisand's persona and sound in 'Simply Barbra,' his delicious portrayal of the biggest diva of them all.  Only a terribly gifted vocalist and mimic could stand in these shoes for as long as Brinberg.  You can bow at the legend's feet, on June 25 at 9:30pm." Cover is $25.

"Celebrated cabaret impresario Jamie deRoy delights her legions of fans with her multi MAC Award-winning variety show 'Jamie deRoy & friends,' June 28 at 7:30pm." Cover is $20.
