Wilson In Scary New INSIDIOUS: CHAPTER 2 Trailer

Broadway/Hollywood crossover superstar Patrick Wilson is quickly becoming the horror king of Hollywood leading man thanks to the resounding recent success of INSIDIOUS in theaters, on DVD and on demand compounded by last week's spectacular opening weekend for THE CONJURING, which claimed the top box office spot, and, now a new trailer for his third collaboration with director James Wan has been released byway of a new look at INSIDIOUS: CHAPTER 2.

The official synopsis for INSIDIOUS: CHAPTER 2 is as follows: "The famed horror team of director James Wan and writer Leigh Whannell reunite with the original cast of Patrick Wilson, Rose Byrne, Lin Shaye, Barbara Hershey and Ty Simpkins in INSIDIOUS: CHAPTER 2, a terrifying sequel to the acclaimed horror film, which follows the haunted Lambert family as they seek to uncover the mysterious childhood secret that has left them dangerously connected to the spirit world."

Wilson recently participated in my InDepth InterView column and spoke about his work with Wan on their various collaborations, candidly recounting of his views on horror films in general, "James just loves that stuff. You know, for having been in three or four horror movies, I'm not a big horror guy, so when James and I have conversations, he has a tendency to lose me sometimes," Wilson said with a charming laugh.

INSIDIOUS: CHAPTER 2 will be released on September 13.
