Will Blum, Anna Maria Perez de Tagle, Natalie Charle Ellis and More Set for MONKEY BOOGERS! Reading Today

An industry-only reading of the new musical "MONKEY BOOGERS," by the award-winning writing team of Brian Feinstein & Stephen Tyler Davis, will be presented today, May 22nd at 12pm & 4pm. The musical, which is being produced by Kevin Duda (The Book of Mormon, Beautiful), is the first offering under this new family entertainment brand, which has projects in development for television, cd and books as well.

"I was inspired to write this show by my ten year old self - when boogers, monkeys, and creepy crawlers were a few of my favorite things!" said Davis. Duda added, "Brian & Stephen have not only succeeded in crafting an original musical with catchy songs, clever lyrics and an important message, but one that entertains both children & adults at the same time."

The 6-person cast includes Will Blum (Elf, The Book of Mormon, Harmony), Natalie Charle Ellis (Les Miserables, Forbidden Broadway), Scott Barnhardt (The Book of Mormon, Big River), Anna Maria Perez de Tagle (Godspell, Disney's Hannah Montana), Erin Maguire (101 Dalmations, Seussical) and Jimmy Bain.

The reading is directed by Chad Larabee with musical direction & arrangements by Anna Ebbesen. The Stage Manager is Kat West.
