Wildhorn & Murphy Pen 'Count of Monte Cristo' Musical

Theater St.Gallen of Switzerland will present the world premiere production of The Count of Monte Cristo, by Frank Wildhorn and Jack Murphy.
On commission of Theater St.Gallen, composer Frank Wildhorn and lyricist Jack Murphy have created an exciting new musical based on the great novel The Count of Monte Cristo.
The score is being arranged by Koen Schoots and orchestrated by Kim Scharnberg. The world premiere production opens on March 14, 2009 at Theater St.Gallen.
The Swiss company considers itself fortunate to have roused Frank Wildhorn's enthusiasm for this subject, thereby confirming its leading position in musical theater in Switzerland and beyond.
