Wicked Packages are Auctioned Off for Hurricane Relief, Ending Sept. 22

As part of Broadway's Celebrity Benefit Auction for Hurrican Katrina Relief, a number of Wicked packages will be auctioned off.  The packages are for the performance of the Broadway production of Wicked on September 25th.

The Emerald City Package includes: 

  • Four tickets
  • One autographed show poster by co-hosts Ben Vereen and Liza Minnelli
  • One autographed poster by the Wicked cast
  • Four passes to "Behind the Emerald Curtain," followed by a lunch with some Wicked cast members, a cast-guided backstage tour and a meet and greet with Ben Vereen and Rue McClanahan 

The Munchkinland Package includes:   

Two Emerald City packages can currently be bid on, and three Munchkinland Packages are up for grabs.  Both auctions began on Friday, September 16th at 4 PM and will end on Thursday, September 22nd at 4 PM.  For the Emerald City package, there is a minimum bid of $500 per ticket (with a $100 increment), and a $300 minimum ($50 increment) for the Munchkinland Package.

The Broadway production of Wicked currently stars Shoshana Bean as Elphaba, Megan Hilty as Glinda, Ben Vereen as The Wizard and Rue McClanahan as Madame Morrible.
