The Western Wind vocal sextet will present My Funny Valentine - Love! Silly, Sexy, Sacred on Tuesday, February 13 @ 7:30 PM at St Michael's Church Recital Hall, 225 West 99th Street in Manhattan.
The program celebrates Valentine's Day and Mardi Gras with Love Songs from the 16th through the 21st centuries by Monteverdi, Billings, Dowland, Marenzio, Duke Ellington, Billy Joel, Richard Rogers, Elliot Z. Levine, Kurt Weill, Robert Dennis, Gayla Morgan, & more. Featuring songs by Leonard Bernstein in honor of the 100th anniversary of his birth.
Elliot Levine, baritone, will join sopranos Linda Lee Jones and Gayla Morgan, tenors Todd Frizzell and David Vanderwal and countertenor William Zukof for this concert.
