It's just been announced that Carley Stenson has joined the cast of the UK premiere of cult Broadway hit [title of show]. The show runs August 1st - 25th at Assembly Checkpoint.

Real life and musical theatre collide in this multi award winning comedy about two guys writing a musical about two guys writing a musical. From its roots at the New York Musical Theatre Festival through to its acclaimed Broadway run, this unique and original musical chronicles its own creation by Jeff Bowen (music and lyrics) and Hunter Bell (Book).

please note: this Broadway hit contains naughty words, #stagey moments and West End stars alongside songs about vampires, monkeys with playbills and being 9 years old again.

[title of show] features Carley Stenson as Susan. Carley's West End credits include playing Princess Fiona in Shrek The Musical at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane and Elle Woods in Legally Blonde at the Savoy Theatre. She most recently appeared as the special guest star alongside The West End Men at the Vaudeville Theatre and is perhaps best known for playing Steph Cunningham in Channel 4's Hollyoaks for over ten years. Carley is joined by Robbie Towns (Legally Blonde, Evita, LIFT) as Jeff, Jamie Lee Pike, (The Last Five Years, Pop Factor) as Heidi, and Ricky Johnston (Jesus Christ Superstar USA, The Twelve Irish Tenors) as Hunter.

Produced by Patch of Blue Theatre, the award nominated company behind last years sell-out production of the Tony Award winning musical The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, the UK premiere of [title of show] will be directed by Alex Howarth (CafeNation, Spelling Bee, Godspell) and designed by Ben M Rogers (Off-West End Award nominations for Chess and Steel Pier at The Union Theatre).
