Weekend of Chamber Music to Feature NYC Premieres & More

On March 25 (7:30pm) the Weekend of Chamber Music (WCM) Festival will expand its series to New York City from the Catskills. They will present TWO NYC premieres, one by composer James Primosch (Oboe Quartet) and the other by composer Andrew Waggoner (Down/Up). In addition they will present unique improvisations (violin and cello), and works by Beethoven (String Trio in D Major, Op. 9) and Bach (Chorale Prelude on Nun kom der heiden Heiland) to round it out.

Artists joining WCM for this concert are oboist Peggy Pearson, violinists Ari Streisfeld and Andrew Waggoner, violist Kathryn Lockwood, and cellist Caroline Stinson.
