Webseries THE RESIDUALS' KickStarter is Fully Funded, Still Plenty of Rewards Left

As of approximately 11:00pm last night, THE RESIDUALS Season Two KickStarter campaign is fully funded, with 25 hours left. Despite that fact, there are still tons of fun rewards on the table, and any additional money raised will go towards equipment upgrades and publicity.

After a hysterical first season, the web comedy will kick off it's second season exclusively here on BroadwayWorld in 2015. The show's husband and wife creators, Michael Paul Smith and Gillian Pensavalle have self-financed the first season, and set up an ambitious plan for Season Two.

Even thought the campaign is fully-funded, you can still pitch in. So, check out their page and help make Season Two even better. They have already booked guest stars Horatio Sanz (SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE), Jenna Leigh Green (SABRINA THE TEENAGE WITCH, Broadway's WICKED), and commercial acting legend Michael Torpey.

Recently Gillian said, "I feel like this is our George Bailey moment. Except that we won't be going to jail if we don't hit our goal. But the gratitude that George feels as his cousin is tallying up everyone's money is just about exactly how I feel."

Her husband echoed those comments of gratitude, "I'm kind of beside myself. This really has been a leap in the dark. The fact that it's (quite literally) paying off just tells me that we're doing something right."
