WAY Productions is proud to announce its private, industry-only stage reading of WHO ARE YOU?, a new musical by Simon Chouinard & T. Michael Vest. The reading, directed by Richard F. Grasso, will be held at the Music Hall of the Dramatists Guild Fund in Manhattan on Friday, November 18th at 12pm.

Based on a version of the truth, WHO ARE YOU? is a two-act concept musical which explores the theme of identity throughout the ages. Built around a fictional TV show called "The Kaspar Hauser Show", the musical investigates the lives (and lies!) of three real-life imposters who all became infamous at the dawn of the 21st century. Blending typical interviews with flashbacks, each imposter's story is told and re-enacted through songs - using both their memories as opposed to their victims' perspectives. But as the myths unravel, 19th-century mystery boy - and host of the show - Kaspar Hauser slowly has to face his own demons as well... 'Cause in the end, who could pretend they never lied?

The cast, introducing Daniel Bender Stern as HAUSER (Reading: Boubil and Schönberg's La Revolution Francaise), also includes Judith Ingber as ANGELA (Off-Broadway: New York Classical Theatre's The Seagull), Zachary Bullock as FREDERIC (Off-Broadway: Players Theatre's Frankenstein), Tyler Jimenez as ANDREAS (National Tour: Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat), and Jennifer Teska (Off-Off-Broadway: Gallery Players' Evita), Russell McCook (Concert: Patti LuPone: Coulda Shoulda Woulda) & Chris Garber (Carnegie Mellon University's The Full Monty, dir. Patrick Wilson) as the GREEK CHORUS.

Sean P. Pallatroni is the music director, Carolyn Reich is the stage manager and Lauren Kardos is production assistant.
