Every year the nation's most talented high schoolers flock to the Minskoff Theatre for the NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL THEATRE AWARDS (NHSMTA)/JIMMY™ AWARDS. This year's the eighth annual ceremony took place on June 27, hosted by Tony Award®-nominee Zachary Levi. The coveted Jimmy™ Award for Best Performance by an Actress and Best Performance by an Actor was presented to Josh Stroblrepresenting The Jerry HermanAwards and Amina Faye representing The Blumey Awards.
The evening closed with former NHSMTA participant Eva Noblezada, who performed "On My Own" and "Do You Hear the People Sing" with the nominees. She will be reprising her critically-acclaimed London performance as Kim in the upcoming Broadway production of Miss Saigon.
