Want to work with Broadway's Andrew Keenan-Bolger and composer Adam Wachter? Well, now's your chance.
The pair are officially into casting for their upcoming independent short film, titled IF LOVE WERE ALL, they announced on Facebook today. Keenan-Bolger and Wachter will direct the project, which they also co-wrote.
Here's what they're seeking:
"DEAF MALE ACTOR, any ethnicity. Very attractive, to play 25-30. Must be fluent in ASL. On-camera acting experience preferred but not required. Must be available for a 4-5 day NYC shoot starting September 8. Lead role.
HEARING MALE ACTOR, any ethnicity. Very attractive, to play 25-30. Should have some previous experience and proficiency with ASL, though need not be fluent. Must be available for a 4-5 day NYC shoot starting September 8. Lead role."

Keenan-Bolger is an actor, director, author and filmmaker. He can be seen as "Billy Frazier" in the Marc Lawrence directed film, The Rewrite, starring Hugh Grant and Marisa Tomei. On Broadway, he created the role of "Crutchie" in Newsies (Outer Critics Circle nominee, Best Supporting Actor), "Roberston Ay" in Mary Poppins, and has been seen in Seussical, Beauty and the Beast, and A Christmas Carol. Other NY theater credits include "Nick" in Family Furniture at The Flea Theater (directed by Thomas Kail). First National Tours: "Leaf Coneybear" in Spelling Bee, "Max" in The Grinch, as well as Mary Poppins and Ragtime. TV/Film: "Alex" on the HBO series Looking, "Corey" in the film You Must Be Joking, "Christophe," on The Naked Brothers Band (Nickelodeon), Paramount Pictures' Marci X, One Life To Live. Andrew received his B.F.A. from the University of Michigan. As a filmmaker, Andrew is co-creator of the web series, "Submissions Only", now in its third season. His videos have been profiled in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Entertainment Weekly, The Associated Press and New York Magazine. He is currently writing a children's book series with collaborator Kate Wetherhead for the Penguin Group.
Wachter is a composer/lyricist, music director, arranger, orchestrator, and pianist based in NYC. He scored the film "You Must Be Joking," which had its world premiere at the Seattle International Film Festival this May, and the web series "My Day," "The Battery's Down," and "Submissions Only," for which he also wrote the theme. He arranged and music directed the hit show Old Jews Telling Jokes, both Off-Broadway and in Chicago, and orchestrated the PBS documentary "Broadway Musicals: A Jewish Legacy." Adam's other music directing and keyboard credits include The Addams Family, Peter Pan, Radio City Christmas Spectacular, Unlock'd, the Off-Broadway revival of Carrie, and, most recently, the world premiere musical Dog and Pony at the Old Globe. In concert, he has accompanied Lea Michele, Trisha Yearwood, Jonathan Groff, Alysha Umphress, Celia Keenan-Bolger, Norm Lewis, Brent Barrett, Stephanie J. Block, Melinda Doolittle, Karen Olivo, and many more, and this summer he was honored to music direct and arrange Mayor Bill de Blasio's opening number in the annual Inner Circle Show. Adam is currently developing his original musical Tarrytown, which just received a reading at the Diversionary Theater in San Diego.
