Wagner College Theatre Stage One presents William Shakespeare's magical masterwork, The Tempest, directed by David Ledoux (WCT Stage One Thugs and Scab), playing December 1-6, 2015.
One storm rages on the sea. Another storm rages inside of a man. Will Prospero, the banished Duke of Milan, exact his revenge or forgive his foes? Shakespeare's magnificent last play is a meditation on family, love, mercy, and-ultimately-the theatre itself. With wonder, imagination and sheer theatricality, this powerful production will take audiences on a breathtaking journey.
The Tempest cast features Victoria Puza as Prospero, Adam Goldenberg (Gonzalo), Mari Skoultchi (Trinculo), Daniel Marconi (Ferdinand), Jesse Pimpinella (Sebastian), Courtney McGowan (Stephano), Taylor Baskin (Ariel), Serina Figueiras (Miranda), Maria Salerno (Antonio), Noah Bridgestock (King Alonso), Kanyi Creppy (Caliban), Christian Alvarez, Bobbi Barricella, Zachary Berteletti, and Ryan McConville (Spirits).
The creative team includes Madison LaSorda and Amanda Taylor, scenic design; Lauren Heirigs, costume design; Matt Hervilly, lighting design; Christopher Zika, sound design; and Angie Nortz, production stage manager.
