Set in America, Israel and Palestine, WRESTLING JERUSALEM follows one man's journey to understand the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Aaron Davidman's solo performance is a personal story that grapples with the complexities of identity, history and social justice. Giving voice to 17 different characters - men and women, Jews and Muslims, soldiers and farmers, intellectuals and ordinary citizens - the play sheds light on one of the most entrenched conflicts of our time.
WRESTLING JERUSALEM is a play that seeks to build bridges of understanding about the complex challenges of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Each 90-minute performance is followed by a unique post-show conversation. These conversations give audiences an opportunity to reflect, as a community, on the issues the play addresses. The facilitated conversation lasts about 30 minutes.
