Broadway performers Liz Callaway (Baby, The Look of Love, Merrily We Roll Along, Miss Saigon, Cats), BJ Crosby (Smokey Joe's Café, Chicago, One Mo' Time), Liz McCartney (Taboo, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera), Julia Murney (The Wild Party, A Class Act, Time And Again) and Barbara Walsh (Falsettos, Blood Brothers, Big, Hairspray) will all appear in WOMEN ON STAGE, a concert benefiting The Songbook Project at the Lucille Lortel Theatre on Monday, October 11th at 8pm. The evening will be hosted by Malcolm Gets (Amour, Finian's Rainbow, A New Brain, Hello Again and TV's "Caroline in the City"). Supervising the production will be Phil Geoffrey Bond.

The concert will feature each of the singers in their own mini-concert, singing material from the Great American Songbook, old and new, along with some of the Broadway songs they helped make classics.

The Songbook Project is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to promoting the art of live performance, with a special emphasis on both new and classic popular songs. The organization brings professional singers into schools and community centers to perform these American standards, followed by a question and answer session. Please see
