WLIW21 New York Public Television will present the world broadcast premiere of "From Galway to Broadway" on Sunday, October 29th at 3:30 PM.

The program features tenor Ciarán Sheehan and soprano Gay Willis. Sheehan made his Broadway debut in Les Miserables, and was later cast as the title character in The Phantom of the Opera, which he played for over 1,000 performances.

Soprano Gay Willis starred in the world tour of The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber: A Concert Spectacular with Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman. Gay later starred as Christine in The Phantom of the Opera opposite both Colm Wilkinson and later Sheehan.

The concert will feature emotional classics from the Emerald Isle and Broadway at New York City's historic Marble Collegiate Church. Accompanying the show will be The New York Festival Orchestra, conducted by David Holcenberg.

Filmed in June 2006, the production has toured across America and Ireland for four years. WLIW will distribute the show nationally to public television stations in November 2006.
