WICKED Launches Free App in Celebration of 9th Anniversary

Wicked now offers its fans a free app, which launched on Tuesday, October 30, the musical's 9th Anniversary on Broadway. The official Wicked app is currently available for download and use on Apple and Android devices. The free download is available at Wicked" target="_blank">www.road.ie/Wicked.

The Wicked app features the latest up-to-the-minute news on the worldwide phenomenon, as well as first access to exclusive behind-the-scene videos with the creative team and cast members. Fans can also take their photo with Elphaba or Glinda to create custom photo cards to share online, explore the seven worldwide companies of the musical, and listen to music clips from the Grammy Award-winning original cast recording. Additionally, users can integrate their social media accounts and engage with a 'fan wall' where they can post comments and photos in real time for all to see.

The app was created by Wicked's Digital Agency, Situation Interactive, and is powered by Mobile Roadie, the world's leading mobile platform.
