In honor of its 7th Anniversary on Broadway on October 30, the blockbuster musical Wicked will host several special events and promotions throughout the month of October.
This year, Wicked fans in the New York area will be treated to some very special Wicked-inspired events, including a seminar to learn about the magic and science of Wicked at "Behind the Emerald Curtain: Science Edition" at the Liberty Science Center, a cast performance at ‘The World of Wicked" at The Short Hills Mall in New Jersey, and a chance to spend Halloween with members of the Broadway cast of Wicked at an exclusive post-show party.
Additionally, Wicked fans around the world will be able to interact with members of the cast and creative teams of the Broadway, London, German and North American touring companies through the "Wicked Day Online Q&A," which will take place October 30. BEHIND THE EMERALD CURTAIN: SCIENCE EDITIONOctober 24
Meet some of the behind-the-scenes magicians from Wicked as they show the science behind many of the show's special effects at the Liberty Science Center (222 Jersey City Boulevard, Jersey City, NJ). The one-hour presentation and Q&A session will begin at 11am on Sunday, October 24. Come celebrate Halloween at Wicked this year. The first 100 Wicked fans to buy orchestra tickets using the code WD7 for the 3pm performance on Sunday, October 31 are invited to a post-show party at Tom & Toon, a new restaurant located across the street from The Gershwin Theatre.
