WHAT A GLORIOUS FEELING is set to be the opening show at Adirondack Theatre Festival. The show will open today, June 23 and play through July 3. The play, which features dancing and music was created by Jay Berkow who became inspired after attending a interview with Donen at an event for Lincoln Center. Berkow wrote the book and directed the production.

Additional creative team includes Choreography by Christopher G. Patterson, Music Direction by Kenney M. Green, Sets by Jonathan Wentz, Lighting by Gary Burlew, Costumes by Jean Brookman and Sound by Ken Goodwin

The productions stars James Patterson as Gene Kelly, Justin Goodemoot as Stanley Donen and Krista Kurtzberg as Debbie Reynolds. The show also features John Moss as Arthur Freed, Hilary Rushford as Jeanne Coyne.

Inspired by true events, WHAT A GLORIOUS FEELING brings to life the tempestuous love triangle between Gene Kelley, Co-Director Stanley Donen and their dance captain, Jeanne Coyne behind-the-scenes of "Singin' in the Rain", the greatest movie musical of all time. This new play with music and dance celebrates the genius of this highly charged collaboration while exploring the emotional complexity of their lives behind the camera. It features great tunes and gives audiences an exciting opportunity to experience the choreographic process that created some of Hollywood's most exiting and enduring dance sequences. The show is based on true events but is a work of fiction.
