WFUV is a non-commercial, listener-supported public radio station, licensed to Fordham University for over 60 years. October 4 -- Philly's glam-garage rockers Free Energy's debut album, Stuck on Nothing, was produced by James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem, and when the guys dropped by Studio A, they kicked out raucous versions of "Bang Pop," "Free Energy" and "Dream City."October 11 -- Longtime favorites of The Alternate Side, The Postelles are still readying their debut album, due out October 12, but came by to play tracks from their White Night EP. They guys even covered Elvis Presley's "Hound Dog."
October 18 -- Former Secret Machines guitarist Benjamin Curtis and twins Alejandra and Claudia Deheza form School of Seven Bells, who play New York's Santo's Party House on October 23, show off their tattoos and play a trio of tracks from their sophomore album Disconnect From Desire: "Bye Bye Bye," "I L U" and "Dust Devil."
