WEST SIDE STORY Gets A New 'Riff,' John Arthur Greene Replaces Cody Green

WEST SIDE STORY has a new 'Riff' in John Arthur Greene. The actor, already making his Broadway debut as a swing in the show, takes over the role from Cody Green. Greene played his first official performance in the role last night, August 4th.

John Arthur Greene is no stranger to WEST SIDE STORY. The actor starred as Action, and understudied the role of Riff, in a European tour of the famous musical. Greene has also been seen as 'Johnny' in Off-Broadway's THE JOHNNY AND LUKE IN MIM.

The role of "Maria" is played by Broadway newcomer Josefina Scaglione. The 21 year old actress comes directly, by special arrangement with Actors' Equity Association, from Buenos Aires after an exhaustive international search for the role.
