WALT DANTE'S INFERNO, DEAD SEXY and More Set for Porkpie International's May Lineup

In May, Porkpie International, producer of theatrical burlesque Pinchbottom, infamous international bump & grind gameshow Grab My Junk, and The Church of Titillation, adds two shows to its roster of weekly events in Times Square: The Amazing Miracle Hour and Dead Sexy.

Church of Titillation continues Sundays at 8:00pm, with a new theme and a new lineup every week, plus one scripted show in the Pinchbottom vein debuting every month. In May, guest associate producer Donatella Melies joins us from LA. Themes include Hostile Takeover, filled with mostly male, mostly out-of-town performers, Mother's Day special Weird: Burlesque Only a Mother Could Love, housewares gone wrong in The Pervertables: Objects of Desire, and Walt Dante's Inferno - The Divine Comedy that Disney never did.

Witness the impossible! The Amazing Miracle Hour debuts May 15, Fridays at 7pm, A weekly variety hour featuring magic, sideshow, circus, music, storytelling, and more. Three performers each week from these various genres present 20 minute sets of incredible entertainment.

Dead Sexy is back from the grave weekly May 15 at 9:00pm, with more flasher slasher striptease! Returning to the hellhole from which it crawled - The horrifying Times Scare in Times Square NYC- the show features the best neo-burlesque performers on earth... And under it! A frighteningly attractive, monstrously talented, insanely seductive night of tease, titillation, and of course... Death.

Sunday, May 3 @ 8:00pm - Church of Titillation: HOSTILE TAKEOVER

A mostly-male attack of out-of-town striptease! Kicking off NYC's Boylesque month (which will also include a special edition of Homo Erectus and the New York Boylesque festival), the Church is flooded with gorgeous guests from across the country and around the world, including psychotics from Los Angeles, Drag Queens from Vienna, wrestlers from Seattle, and the winner of Mr. Burlesque Australia 2014. Burlesque Mayor of NYC Jonny Porkpie, house magician Patrick Davis, and "intellectual homosexual" Lucky Charming must defend their home town against an invasion of Donatella Melies (LA), Jacques Patriaque and Tamara Mascara (Vienna, Austria), Eddie Van Glam (Seattle) and Charlie D. Barkle (Australia)!

New York's strangest stripteasers bust out their most bizarre bump and grind for a Mother's Day show that will make even the most accepting parent swoon. Ol "Uncle Walt" sure did love turning classic tales into cartoons! Some have accused him of sanitizing them, stripping away the sexual or violent elements, like Cinderella's Stepsisters' foot-mutilation and eye-gouging or Rapunzel's carnal dalliances with her hair-climbing prince, but he did introduce these fairy stories to a new generation, who could easily go look up the more graphic scenes at their local library. Some classic literature, however, was too much even for Walt... but what if it wasn't? Walt Dante's Inferno: Live On Stage: On Ice takes an animated tour of Alighieri's underworld, and your conscience sure as hell ain't your guide. Descend into of the first book of The Divine Comedy, as it might have been reimagined in animated form, then adapted for Broadway, then on Ice. In May's scripted event from The Church of Titillation (written by Pinchbottom scribe Jonny Porkpie), Donatella Melies, "Cyclone" Jack Sullivan, Lefty Lucy, Legs Malone, The Maine Attraction, Matt Knife, Patrick Davis, Tigger!, and Porkpie himself will all dance, sing - and, of course, strip - their way through nine circles of eternal torment. Will everybody in hell live happily ever after? Of course they will. Otherwise, how will we make money from crappy direct-to-video sequels?
