• HELLMAN V. MCCARTHY, in which Dick Cavett plays himself, makes its World Premiere at Abingdon tonight.

• A remastered 50th Anniversary edition of the FUNNY GIRL Original Broadway Cast Recording will be released the week of Barbra Streisand's birthday!
• Jonathan Groff and Lucy Liu will announce the 2014 Tony nominations on April 29.
• London's FROM HERE TO ETERNITY will hit movie theaters this year with aims for Broadway in 2015!
• Signature Theatre's 2014-15 season will feature the US premiere of Sam Shepard's A PARTICLE OF DREAD and more...

What's just around the corner: Tony-winner for ANYTHING GOES and THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE, Sutton Foster returns to Broadway in VIOLET, beginning previews this Friday. She's an even better reason to make it past the hump this week.

And finally, Happy Birthday to Jonathan Groff, who turns 29 today! Groff, who will be announcing this year's Tony Award nominations next month, recently voiced the character 'Kristoff' in Disney's animated hit FROZEN. He will soon be seen in a new adaptation of THE NORMAL HEART from Larry Kramer and Ryan Murphy on HBO this May and also stars in the TV series LOOKING. He has appeared on Broadway in SPRING AWAKENING (for which he was nominated for a Tony in 2007), as well as 2005's IN MY LIFE.
