WHAT YOU MISSED YESTERDAY:

Broadway Weather Forecast: High of 73 degrees and sunny. Gorgeous.

Quote of the Day: THE TRIP TO BOUNTIFUL star Cicely Tyson on continuing to strive for something...

I think when you begin to think of yourself as having achieved something, then there's nothing left for you to work towards. I want to believe that there is a mountain so high that I will spend my entire life striving to reach the top of it.
-- Cicely Tyson (via BrainyQuote)

What we can't wait another minute for but have to: The INTO THE WOODS movie. Check out Meryl Streep as 'The Witch' in Disney's newest poster!

What we're listening to: Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett's "Nature Boy" duet - just released yesterday!

And finally, a Happy Birthday shout-out to Constantine Maroulis, who turns 39 today!

Maroulis was nominated for a Tony Award for his performance on Broadway in Rock of Ages (to which he briefly returned this summer) and received a Drama League nomination for playing the title role in Jekyll and Hyde. Before that he appeared as 'Sammy' in The Wedding Singer. Maroulis was a finalist for the fourth season of American Idol. He was part of the band Betty from 2003-2006, then quit to pursue a solo career; he released his self-titled album in 2007 via his own indie label.
