Good morning, BroadwayWorld! Because we know all our readers eat, sleep and breathe Broadway, what could be better than waking up to it? This weekend's big news: James Monroe Iglehart co-hosts THE VIEW, DONKEY PUNCH and MALA HIERBA begin off-Broadway, BIG FISH swims back to Chicago and more!

Next up in our series of Broadway stars introducing BWW's morning feature is Andrew Keenan-Bolger (portrait by Walter McBride), who has appeared on Broadway in Newsies, Mary Poppins, Seussical and Beauty and the Beast, and who also plays 'Donny' in SUBMISSIONS ONLY, which he created, directs and edits. Take that manic Friday energy (Andrew's got it in spades!) and channel it into the news before launching your fun-filled weekend!

NEWS YOU MISSED YESTERDAY:

Broadway Weather Forecast: High of 86 for the weekend, with sun today and tomorrow and thunderstorms on Sunday.

Quote of the Day: Inspiring words to get you through the weekend...

"Movies will make you famous; Television will make you rich; But theatre will make you good."
-- Terrence Mann (via Goodreads)

What we're watching: One of Philip Seymour Hoffman's final films, A MOST WANTED MAN, which hits theaters today! Also in the cast are Rachel McAdams, Willem Dafoe and Robin Wright. The British spy thriller is based on the novel by John le Carré and is directed by Anton Corbijn. We can't wait to see the master (Hoffman, of course) at work again!

And finally, a Happy Birthday shout-out to Tony Vincent, who turns 42 today! Vincent has starred on Broadway in American Idiot, Jesus Christ Superstar and RENT.
