Rodriguez recently appeared in Deaf West's Spring Awakening, which is heading to New York this season. She last starred on Broadway in First Date, and before that in The Addams Family, In the Heights, the original cast of Spring Awakening, A Chorus Line and Good Vibrations. She also took the stage in Encores! Bye Bye Birdie concert in 2004 and appeared in Godspeed's The Boy Friend the following year. Rodriguez played 'Ana Vargas' on NBC's musical drama series Smash and appeared in ABC Family's Chasing Life this year, after receiving her real-life breast cancer diagnosis in the fall of 2014.
