And a Happy Birthday shout-out to Gary Sinise, who turns 60 today!

Sinise, who is a founding member of Chicago's Steppenwolf Theatre Company, last appeared on Broadway in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. Before that, he directed and produced Buried Child and starred in The Grapes of Wrath. Each show earned him a Tony nomination; Sinise also accepted the 1985 Tonys Regional Theatre Award on behalf of Steppenwolf. Among his off-Broadway directing credits are Orphans, Landscape of the Body and True West, in which he also starred. Sinise is well known for playing 'George' in the film adaptation of Of Mice and Men and was nominated for an Oscar for his role in Forrest Gump. The actor also won a Golden Globe for his portrayal of Harry S. Truman in Truman. He recently starred in the TV series CSI: NY.
