And a Happy Birthday shout-out to Mia Farrow, who turns 71 today!
Mia Farrow last starred on Broadway in LOVE LETTERS opposite Brian Dennehy. Before that, she appeared in GETTING AWAY WITH MURDER and ROMANTIC COMEDY, as well as the 2005 CHILDREN AND ART benefit performance. In the '70s, she took the London stage in MARY ROSE, THE THREE SISTERS and IVANOV and became the first American actress to join the Royal Shakespeare Company. Farrow, who was at one time married to Frank Sinatra, rose to fame playing 'Alison MacKenzie' in the soap opera PEYTON PLACE. One of her first film roles was the lead in ROSEMARY'S BABY. While dating director Woody Allen for more than a decade, she appeared in many of his films, including ZELIG, BROADWAY DANNY ROSE, THE PURPLE ROSE OF CAIRO, HANNAH AND HER SISTERS, RADIO DAYS, CRIMES AND MISDEMEANORS, ALICE and HUSBANDS AND WIVES. More recently, she has appeared on the big screen in WIDOWS' PEAK, THE OMEN and DARK HORSE.
