Tony nominee Jeff Daniels will return to Broadway this season opposite Michelle Williams in BLACKBIRD. Among his past Broadway credits are GOD OF CARNAGE, REDWOOD CURTAIN, THE GOLDEN AGE, FIFTH OF JULY and GEMINI. He has also tread the off-Broadway boards in LEMON SKY, THREE SISTERS, JOHNNY GOT HIS GUN, TWO FROM THE LATE SHOW, LULU, MY LIFE and THE FARM. The actor made his film debut in RAGTIME and has since appeared on the big screen in TERMS OF ENDEARMENT, GETTYSBURG, PLEASANTVILLE, THE HOURS, GOOD NIGHT, AND GOOD LUCK, STEVE JOBS and THE MARTIAN. He is also well known for his role in the DUMB AND DUMBER movies and received Golden Globe nominations for THE PURPLE ROSE OF CAIRO, SOMETHING WILD and THE SQUID AND THE WHALE. He won an Emmy for his portrayal of 'Will McAvoy' in HBO's THE NEWSROOM in 2013.
