Good morning, BroadwayWorld! Because we know all our readers eat, sleep and breathe Broadway, what could be better than waking up to it? This weekend's big news: Broadway gets a new Javert, and GREASE: LIVE airs Sunday night on FOX!

And a Happy Birthday shout-out to Oprah Winfrey, who turns 62 today!
Winfrey, known for her daytime talk show empire and the OWN network, produced the 2006 Tony-nominated production of THE COLOR PURPLE on Broadway. She is currently producing the revival starring Jennifer Hudson. As an actress, she recently graced the big screen in SELMA (which she also produced) and LEE DANIELS' THE BUTLER. She starred as 'Sofia' in THE COLOR PURPLE film in 1985 and went on to appear in NATIVE SON, BELOVED, THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG and more. Oprah hosts several programs on her TV network, including OPRAH'S MASTER CLASS, OPRAH: WHERE ARE THEY NOW?, SUPER SOUL SUNDAY and more. THE OPRAH WINFREY SHOW launched in 1986 and was nationally syndicated until 2011. She received the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2013.
