And a Happy Birthday shout-out to Judi Dench, who turns 81 today!

Dame Judi Dench is currently starring in THE WINTER'S TALE as part of Kenneth Branagh Theatre Company's inaugural season and last appeared in the West End in PETER AND ALICE. Before that, she took the Broadway stage in INTO THE WOODS, AMY'S VIEW (which won her a Tony in 1999), KING HENRY V and TWELFTH NIGHT. Among her other London credits are A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC, THE GOOD COMPANIONS and CABARET. She has won six Olivier Awards. Dench made her professional debut in 1957 with the Old Vic Company and her career has encompassed award-winning work for the RSC and National Theatre as well as a glittering screen career. Her film roles include Queen Victoria in MRS BROWN, M in the Bond series, Elizabeth I in SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE, for which she won an Oscar, and lauded portrayals in CHOCOLAT, IRIS, MRS HENDERSON PRESENTS, NOTES ON A SCANDAL and PHILOMENA.
