The Divine Miss M last appeared on Broadway in I'll Eat You Last: A Chat with Sue Mengers. Before that, she starred on the Great White Way in Bette! Divine Madness, Bette Midler's Clams on the Half Shell Revue, Bette Midler and Fiddler on the Roof. She won a special Tony Award in 1974 for "adding lustre to the Broadway season." Midler also just released her first studio album in eight years, titled It's the Girls. Her debut album, 1972's The Divine Miss M, set her on the path that has led her to earn Grammys, Emmys, Golden Globes and Academy Award nominations in a career that has spanned over 40 years. Midler has also appeared in over two dozen films, including The Rose, Beaches, Ruthless People, Hocus Pocus, First Wives Club and For The Boys.
