And finally, a Happy Birthday shout-out to Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio, who turns 55 today!
Mastrantonio last appeared on Broadway in last year's The Winslow Boy. Before that, she was nominated for Best Actress in a Musical for Man of La Mancha in 2003. Among her other Broadway credits are The Marriage of Figaro, The Human Comedy, Oh, Brother!, Copperfield, Amadeus and West Side Story. She has also acted in several Shakespeare in the Park productions and appeared in the West End's A View from the Bridge. Mastrantonio is known for her roles in the films Scarface (1983) and The Color of Money, which earned her Oscar and Golden Globe nominations in 1986.
