Quote of the Day: In honor of ON THE TOWN's opening night, hear from legendary choreographer Jerome Robbins on his inspiration for the show...
"He comes in with photos of ships and sailors, and for two hours we didn't do anything but look at pictures and talk about that time, who these men were and what the women were doing. As a 23-year-old, I sat there thinking, 'Is he out of his mind?' I hadn't learned a step of the ballet yet."

Video of the Day: The new, GREASE-themed Chanel No. 5 "The One That I Want" promo film, directed by STRICTLY BALLROOM helmer Baz Luhrmann!
And finally, a Happy Birthday shout-out to Angela Lansbury, who turns 89 today!
Lansbury's last appearance on Broadway was in Gore Vidal's The Best Man in 2012. Before that, the prolific actress starred on the Great White Way in A Little Night Music, Blithe Spirit (which earned her a Tony in 2009, in which she just starred in the West End, and which she will take on tour in the US this winter), Mame (her first Tony in 1966), Sweeney Todd (another Tony Award), The King and I, Gypsy (another Tony!), Dear World (yet another Tony), and more. Lansbury has won six Golden Globes and received an honorary Oscar last year after 70 years in the film industry.
See you bright and early tomorrow, BroadwayWorld!
